A big community Saturday in Mansfield – the market in the morning, the Steiner School Fair from 10am and showers forecast that won’t stop a thing.
Saturday 24 October is one of those days where Mansfield does what it does best. The Mansfield Farmers’ Market is on from 8:30am on High Street, and from 10am the Mansfield Steiner School opens its doors for their annual Open Day and Fair. Two great reasons to be in town – make a morning of it.
As for the weather – a chance of showers is on the forecast, but the market runs rain or shine. Bring a jacket, grab a coffee and come find us.
A Big Community Saturday
The Mansfield Steiner School Fair runs from 10am to 3pm – a wonderful community event with something for the whole family. Start your morning at the market from 8:30am, then head over to the Fair as it gets underway.
And if you think you may have spotted Lakeside Produce & Berries at the Steiner Fair scooping strawberry ice cream – that’s them. They’re sitting out this week’s market but we’re hoping to see them back in November when fresh strawberry season really hits its stride. Watch this space.
Pre-Order Your Seafood
Cripps Seafood is back this Saturday with fresh fish, oysters and prawns. If you’re planning a weekend spread, get your pre-order in with them directly before Saturday to make sure you don’t miss out. Text 0419 980 008

Thinking About Christmas?
With November just around the corner, Christmas is closer than it feels. Many of our stallholders take pre-orders for the festive season – honey, macarons, fudge, seafood, wine, gin and more. Reach out to them directly via their social pages to arrange something special.
And don’t forget: we’re running a special extra market on Monday 28 December, 8:30am–1pm on High Street – the perfect way to ease into the New Year with good local food.
